Liz is one of eleven talented artists whose work will be on display throughout the historic Fintry Manor House during the upcoming Fintry Fusion Art Show & Strawberry Tea.

"Drawing inspiration from the ever-changing beauty of the Okanagan, Liz MacArthur creates expressive works in acrylic and oil. Her paintings are deeply influenced by the play of light across, hillsides, lakes and skies- capturing fleeting moments of colour, mood and movement.

Through layered textures and attention to colour, she seeks to evoke both the serenity and vitality of the natural world found in the Okanagan Valley.

The halls of Fintry Manor House will soon be filled with incredible local artwork. Today we're spotlighting Sharon Bettesworth.

Sharon is one of eleven talented artists whose work will be on display throughout the historic Fintry Manor House during the upcoming Fintry Fusion Art Show & Strawberry Tea.

Please take a moment to learn about the artist behind the artwork:

"Sharon Bettesworth spent many years as a photography retoucher before pursuing painting under the mentorship of a very respected teacher in the Palm Springs art community.

Her work includes portraits and commissioned pieces honouring loved ones, as well as landscapes, florals and wildlife inspired by nature. She often incorporated mixed media to create striking 3-D effects.

Sharon exhibited and participated in competitions in California, earning positive recognition for her work. Through her paintings, she hopes to bring a sense of peace, tranquility and joy to those who view them.
