KGH Foundation
Building world-class health care, right here at Kelowna General Hospital and throughout the Southern Interior of British Columbia.
As the number of Canadians affected by MS continues to rise many of us are beginning to ask questions and consider our own risk. In this episode of the (w)healthy podcast we are joined by Neurologist Dr. Scott Meckling, who specializes in Multiple Sclerosis (MS), and treats patients right here at Kelowna General Hospital.
Shauna asks Dr. Meckling the questions we're all wondering, like why does that number remain so high in Canada? To catch all the answers for yourself head to whealthy.ca
An exciting day for the kindergarten students that joined us at the first annual Teddy Bear Clinic and for the KGH Foundation staff that got to join in on the fun!
Made possible by a generous commitment from Kirmac Cares for Kids, of Kirmac Collision and Autoglass, KGH's first ever Teddy Bear Clinic launched in April and let elementary school students gain insight into some of the care they might receive at the hospital. With the help of real KGH health care professionals, they guided Teddys through interactive stations like X-Rays, IVs, MRIs, and more.
Thank you to everyone who made this special day possible!
