🦔❤️ Dads come in two varieties:

Type 1: “Absolutely not. We are NOT fostering another animal.”

Type 2: “Can we keep this one?”

Oddly enough, they usually turn out to be the same person. 😂

To all the foster dads, fur dads, and the dads who were voluntold they were fostering “just one more” — thank you.

Thank you for the vet runs, the pen building, the food pickups, the late-night cuddles, the transport drives, and for pretending you weren’t attached right up until adoption day.

We see you. ❤️

Tag a foster dad, fur dad, or rescue dad who deserves a little recognition today. 👇

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there 🤍

The human moms. The foster moms bottle feeding babies around the clock. The resident pets who somehow become surrogate parents to every orphan that comes through the door. The young “teen moms” who are still babies themselves. And the exhausted mamas who have done this all a few too many times already 😅 (spay and neuter your pets!)

Rescue sees every version of motherhood 🐾

Including this one… currently trying to enjoy approximately 0.3 seconds of personal space while her playful teenager continues to try to sneak up on her, meow at her, and ignore every boundary she tries to set 😂

One thing we often do in rescue is keep babies with their moms a little longer before separating them. Even when they seem “old enough,” there’s still so much they learn during that teenage phase — social skills, confidence, boundaries, grooming, play, and all the little behavioural lessons only mom can teach.

Much to mom’s dismay, apparently 🤣

Happy Mother’s Day to every kind of mama — furry and human alike 🤍🐾

🚨Please help us help Mason! 🚨

A friendly fellow from a cat colony we are working to stabilize, Mason was hit by a car this afternoon.

He is in a lot of pain and has a hernia. He is at the emergency hospital being prepared for surgery right now.

His emergency care is estimated at $3,000. He will need to be hospitalized for a few days at additional cost.

Please donate towards his care on our website (link in bio).

Each and every donation will help Mason get the care he needs. Thank you! ❤️
