A full farm update for Spring 2021… 🌾

So far this season, we have levelled, tilled, and fertilized the fields. It can take YEARS to get the soil to where we want it to be.

While waiting for our first batch of grape vines to arrive in a few weeks’ time, we have added clover and radish cover grow to break down the soil. They are known to help trap and add nitrogen back into soil. ☘️

50 more fruit and cider trees are being added to the orchard, along with our raspberry, blueberry, and blackberry bushes. 🌳

Our team is also starting to install the second water retention pond for the irrigation and prepare the area for our geothermal heat for the barns and market. 💦
