1. The scale will fluctuate throughout the week. Compare your weekly average weight-loss, not daily fluctuations.
2. Fat-loss is different than weight-loss. Even if the scale is moving slower, your clothes may be fitting better because of body fat decreasing. You are still doing well!
3. This is a lifestyle, not a temporary journey. Create habits that you will enjoy and thus you will sustain your results!
4. Vigorous cardio is not necessary for weight-loss. Just walking daily can do wonders for your body.
5. Protein is an essential nutrient. Aim for 1.2g/kg of body weight. Your body will thank you in so many ways along with helping you lose body fat!
6. Comparison is the thief of joy. Reward yourself for your accomplishments and how far you've come. Don't beat yourself up for how far you still have to go.
7. You have 365 days to make a change this year. Every day that goes by that you don't put one foot forward is another day you are wiling to stay stuck. It is up to you to start implementing.
