Are you creating content blindly?👀
Before we cover why it is essential to have a target market 🎯, we need to understand its means.
By definition, a social media target audience is “a group of people that you've identified that you want to appeal to.” ( , 2021). This can be based on any descriptive factor-like demographics, which are factors like age 👵🏼 , income💰, education 🎓, geographic area📍and more!
So, what does this mean? This means that if you haven’t specified your target market, how will you know what content to create if you have not discovered what your target market appeals to and is looking for? 🤷🏼♀️
By determining what your target audience is before you develop content, it will allow you to target your audience with curated content that meets their needs and Interests. Therefore wasting less time⏳, effort💪, money💸, and other resources trying to redirect your content toward an audience who will or may not interact and engage with your post.
