Hey there everyone, this is an emergency political action alert:

The Waterloo Regional Catholic School Board is voting on Monday whether or not to ban local schools from having Pride flags – outside OR inside. This would not only ban the school from using imagery for clubs, pride month, or in any other situation, but it would ban teachers from having any.

It would also ban all "political symbols and slogans", with room to interpret what that means. It uses examples such as BLM or any other pride related imagery.

The meeting is on Monday at 6pm at 35 Weber St. W, Downtown Kitchener. Please come and show support, arrive around 5:30 if you can.

You can also sign up to delegate to speak to the board about what they should do. (Just gonna stress here that I don't know what board members are on board with this or not to please remember to be respectful if you do)
