Have you checked your out of country medical coverage? Most people have coverage through their employee benefits. What you might not realize is that in this day and age of cutbacks, many companies have made benefits "leaner" to save on the bottom line. Your coverages may not be what it used to be! Call your insurance provider and check. If your coverage is less than $1 million, (I'm aware of coverages as low as $100K), do consider adding another coverage. It's not something any of us WANT to pay for but believe me, if you NEED it, you will be so glad you bought it.
