Still in disbelief that this wonderful woman suddenly passed away. If you received a beeswax wrap from us as a client, you know a little piece of what this woman’s business was; reusing and repurposing to be kinder to the earth. Susan was a community leader who was passionate about women, small business, teaching and involving anyone in making even the smallest adjustments to leave the earth just a little better than before. Susan leaves behind a young son, please donate if you’re able. ✨ Susan, your impact on the region, us and beyond won’t be forgotten.

The Pathway Doula Services has served the region of KW and the island of PEI for the last 5 years. This buisness was such a passion and brought so so many wonderful people into our lives - many of them who became permanent fixtures through friendship, life and growing families.
It is with joy and sadness that we leave this venture behind for now. Emily and I started this buisness together as a way to pursue our passion around birth, to foster and enjoy our friendship, raise our kids together and have fun through serving our community. We moved forward to add Erin to our KW team while I moved to PEI and served the women and communities across the island. Eventually we added Holly to our team as my life and role changed and she carried on serving the women of PEI with grace. We all grew so much in friendship, in passion and we made big impact wherever we served as doulas.
All of our lives have changed in these 5 years; Emily and I both have grown our families, Erin has continued in schooling and Holly has also moved along to ventures that fit the schedule of her family better for now.
While this venture will also be one filled with fond memories we are all living with joy in the moments we are in now even though that means our doula work isn’t at the forefront.
On January 15th, we will officially close for the time being. If you have open contracts with us, we will of course continue with them but we will no longer be accepting new clients and our website will no longer be live.
Thank you to every woman and family who trusted us with their care over these 5 years - we’ll never forget any of you - it was the privilege of a lifetime.
Passionately your doulas,
✨ Emily, Jenny, Erin & Holly

Today, May 5th, is International Day of the Midwife! Midwives have been a central and integral part of why The Pathway Doula Services started; their compassionate, informed, autonomous care provided support that drove the beginnings of this business back in 2017 and part of what still drives us today. While PEI has passed legislation to bring midwifery care to the island, that promise has yet to come to fruition and women are still crying out for the care of midwives; choice of birth place, respect, autonomy in their birth. So today, while there is still so much work to be done, we celebrate midwives everywhere and the very significant work they do. Thank you for changing the world one birth, one family, one woman, one baby at a time.
