Here's a sneak peek of the new aquatic centre at the Whitby Sports Complex as we put the finishing touches in place 👀

Opening this September, the facility will be home to the Region of Durham's largest aquatic centre, featuring a 25 m, 10-lane pool, a separate leisure pool, and upper-level spectator viewing.

We can't wait to see the community enjoying it soon!

The secret’s out and we’re so happy we can finally share this big news. The aquatic centre at the new Cambridge Recreation Complex will officially be named the Bernie Gall Memorial Pool 💙

Bernie was the heart of Acapulco Pools, a company that has been part of the Waterloo Region for over 50 years, so it feels particularly fitting to see his name live on in this way.

The facility is currently under construction and will open this winter. For us at Acapulco Pools, it’s especially meaningful seeing his name connected to a project we are building.

We can’t wait to see the Bernie Gall Memorial Pool open and serve the community for generations to come.
