On this job we added a layer of sonopan (soundproofing) and a layer of Type X 5/8” drywall with finish tape to make this exterior wall sound proof! It’s important when doing sound proofing you have the drywall joints not land on the joints of sound proofing for added sound proofing!

A recent 1300 ibs red iron beam install, we used shore posts and temporary beams to support the load of second floor. Rented some 8000ibs lifters to make the job safer and easier to do! Ever think about removing a load bearing wall? We got the right tools and guys for the job!
