📚Our summer literacy camp starts on Monday! Join us for a fun summer of games, crafts, and learning.

🧒 Grades 1-4: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
🧑‍🏫 Grades 5-7: 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM

*you’re child will be placed in a group according to what grade they will be going into in the fall

Qualifications and Responsibilities:

Helping to foster an atmosphere and environment of pride, respect, and trust.
Assisting with the preservation of traditional knowledge and oral tradition.
Assisting classroom teachers with First Nations and Metis knowledge, language, and traditional skills.
Teaching traditional and cultural skills such as trapping, fishing, beading, storytelling, and smudging.
Teaching cultural life skills to promote mastery, generosity, independence, and belonging.
Meeting with at-risk youths.
Assisting with parent support groups.

There have been 2 bears hanging around near the school for the last few days. They have been seen in yards and just adjacent to the school grounds. Make sure kiddos are extra bear aware until conservation officers can get control of the situation.
