While the Province of Manitoba has announced Level 1 fire and travel restrictions starting Friday, May 2, it's important to note that the Municipality of Alexander 𝐀𝐋𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐘 has a stricter fire ban in place, effective April 26, 2025, and remains in effect until further notice.

This means:
● 𝐍𝐎 𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐝𝐨𝐨𝐫 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞, 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐬.
● 𝐍𝐎 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬 𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐤𝐲 𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐬.
● 𝐍𝐎 𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐥 (𝐀𝐓𝐕𝐬, 𝐎𝐑𝐕𝐬, 𝐞𝐭𝐜.) 𝐨𝐧 𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐥𝐞𝐱𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫.

These restrictions apply 24/7 — 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝟖 𝐚.𝐦. 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝟖 𝐩.𝐦. like the provincial order.
