Going down stairs and not having you on my heels
Going to water the garden without you
Not having you eat breakfast with us
Not seeing your bagging face when you finished eating and want your treat
Not going on our morning hike together
Going into work and you not coming with me
Seeing the bed in my office without you on it
You not having lunch with all of us in the lunch room bagging from everyone
Not going for our afternoon walk along the water
Not having you here to get so excited when it was home time
Going home without you to make and have dinner alone
My world is so small but you made it big.
You were my happy place.
Finding my new normal isn't going to be easy.
I'm so happy we got to spend so much time together.
