Our Story
The 49th got it's start in 1977 when the Richmond's purchased the small corner store on 1st Avenue of Ladysmith, BC. We have grown with our community and now with 4 locations, we employ over 220 local people. Our goal is to provide top quality products, unparalleled service and a friendly shopping atmosphere.
