Planted at the Smithsonian Museum in Washington, D.C., this variety honors the enduring friendship between Canada and the U.S. and is being released in celebration of America’s 250th birthday in 2026. His name is a nod to the national anthem, and the occasional white stripe reverse echoes the stripes of the American flag. Lightly fragrant with true rose notes and a favorite among pollinators, this hardy rose is a standout for patriotic gardens and sustainable landscapes.
