Some job sites have a coffee shop down the road.

This week our team is in Northern BC servicing remote cell tower generators and performing fuel polishing to keep critical backup power reliable. These sites may be out of the way, but they’re essential for keeping communications running when they’re needed most.

Not every service call is around the corner, and that’s exactly how we like it.

Sometimes the job gives you a front row seat to things you never expect.

While servicing a generator at a care home this week, our team watched a fire ignite across the river. It was a powerful reminder of just how quickly conditions can change.

Thankfully, the fire has since been reported as contained, but our thoughts are with everyone affected by wildfires this season, including the firefighters and emergency crews working tirelessly to keep communities safe.

Moments like these reinforce why reliable backup power matters for essential facilities like care homes. When the unexpected happens, being prepared makes all the difference.

Myth: Generators only need service when something goes wrong.

Fact: By the time a problem shows up, the damage may already be done.

Routine maintenance catches worn parts, weak batteries, fuel issues, and other small problems before they leave you without backup power when you need it most.

A little preventative maintenance today can save a major repair tomorrow.
