MOWA PRODUCTIONS À SÉRIES MANIA 2026 - BILAN

Séries Mania 2026 se termine et cette édition a marqué une étape importante pour MOWA Productions.

Dans le cadre de l’Accélérateur canadien des industries créatives (ACIC), nous avons eu l’occasion de participer à une série de rencontres à Lille et à Paris avec des professionnel·les clés du secteur, de présenter notre vision, et de faire avancer nos échanges autour de GOURMANDISES, notre projet de série en développement.

Au-delà des rendez-vous, cette semaine a surtout confirmé une chose : il existe un véritable espace pour des projets francophones portés depuis l’Ouest canadien, à condition d’arriver préparé, clair sur sa proposition et prêt à construire des ponts durables.

MOWA PRODUCTIONS AT SERIES MANIA 2026 - WRAP-UP

Series Mania 2026 marked an important step for MOWA Productions.

As part of the Canadian Creative Industries Accelerator (ACIC), we took part in a full week of meetings in Lille and Paris with key industry professionals, presented our vision, and moved forward on conversations around GOURMANDISES, our series currently in development.

More than anything, this week confirmed that there is real space for French-language projects coming out of Western Canada — when the vision is clear, the work is ready, and the goal is long-term collaboration.

- and a meaningful moment at the Embassy of Canada

Thank you to the Embassy of Canada in France, the ACIC team, Telefilm Canada, the APFC, and everyone we met along the way for the generosity, openness, and quality of the conversations.

We’re coming back with stronger ties, real momentum, and the next step already ahead.

MOWA Productions is super excited to announce that Martini Entertainment Group (MEG) as our Confirmed Production Partner for our upcoming production, Gourmandises!

Having the right infrastructure is everything for our series. MEG is stepping up to provide the perfect home for our production, including: Martini Film Studios and Martini Town.

Big news today. Alex Soldatov has been chosen for the 2025-2026 Rogers-BSO Script Development Program.
For his TV series “Casino”. MOWA Productions wants to thank the Black Screen Office and Rogers Group of Funds for the selection and the support.
