We are looking for a well rounded journeyman electrician. Experience in commercial and industrial necessary, drilling rig is a bonus.

Normal working hours Monday to Friday between 7:30-4. On call participation is mandatory, runs for 7 days at a time approx once every two months, on call pay, shift premium on out of town work.

- H2S Alive
- Fall arrest
- MEWP
- CSTS
- CSO
- Drivers license

Myarc Electric is hiring for a motivated 2nd or 3rd Year Apprentice Electrician.

The right candidate must be open to learning new skills, travel out of town as necessary, participate in an on-call afterhours schedule, own transportation to and from the office or site.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose, locate the cause of, and repair malfunctioning systems and components with supervision
Install conduit runs and pull cable
Manual labour
Read blueprints
Communicate effectively in English with office and customers
Working knowledge of the CEC 2021
Perform work in a safe manner
Working at heights
Requirements

Strong working knowledge on safe work practices (such as lock out/tag out, fall protection, and hazard assessments)
Ability to work with minimal supervision independently or in a group
Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
A class 5 driver's license with 3 or fewer demerits (abstract must be no older than 30 days pre-hire)
A clean & professional appearance
Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
