Overgrown quicks make it impossible to adequately cut your dogs nails, they make the process uncomfortable and contribute to aversions to nail trims. 🐾 The good news is, there’s a gentler approach to reaching adequate nail length. A dogs body is amazing, and quicks will actually recede within a few days of a nail trim. This means you can cut just before the quick, and return a few days later to cut the nail even shorter. 🐾 It takes patience, and remember to make it a positive experience.
