Starting December 1, 2026, banks will no longer be accepting paper-based remittance forms for bill payments. This includes tax payments. We understand that CRA payments may still be accepted after that date for a short period but will eventually be phased-out as well.

Now is the time to learn how to pay your bills online if you haven't already. Below are a couple of links that provide electronic payment options for both CRA and Alberta Tax.

Update your personal info with your CRA account – quickly and securely!

Steps to update:

1️. Sign in to your CRA account (or register if you don’t have one)
2️. Select your Individual account to go to My Account and then go to Profile
3️. Scroll to the info you want to update
4️. Enter the new details and save your changes
5️. Look for on-screen confirmation – this ensures your info has been updated

Tip: Updating your info online is the fastest way to make sure your refunds, benefit and credit payments, and notices reach you.
