A successful cut isn’t just about the scale moving down it’s also about how much strength you keep while losing weight.
Overall strength is one of the best indicators of how effective a cut was. If your lifts stay relatively stable, there’s a better chance you preserved muscle while dropping body fat.
If you notice a large decrease in strength after a cut, it can be a sign that you lost more muscle than fat.
Track the scale, but pay attention to the bar too.

2. Be aware of your weight distribution through your foot
3. Practice balance intentionally
4. Use support when you need it then progress gradually
