– Cleaner & Front Desk Staff (One Position) Kent Inn Motel – Lindsay, Ontario
The Kent Inn Motel, a family-run and well-respected business in Lindsay, Ontario, is seeking a dependable individual to join our team. This is a Monday to Friday position combining both cleaning responsibilities and front desk duties. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and able to deliver both excellent guest service and high standards of cleanliness.
Responsibilities
• Clean and prepare guest rooms according to Kent Inn standards (beds, linens, bathrooms, floors, dusting, vacuuming, etc.)
• Maintain the cleanliness of common areas as required
• Greet and check guests in and out, answer phones, and manage reservations
• Handle guest requests courteously and promptly
• Monitor lost and found, replenish supplies, and ensure a welcoming environment
Position Details
• Part-time, Monday to Friday
• Police check required
• Paid at provincial minimum wage plus any gratuities
• Previous experience in cleaning or customer service is an asset, but not required

• Own transportation is recommended

The Kent Inn is currently looking for a cleaner to start Sat.March 26th. We are a family run respected business located in Lindsay Ontario. We take pride in our cleanliness and expect the same. Resumes can be dropped off at the Kent Inn Motel. No degree, certificate or diploma is required but experience in cleaning is an asset. The position is part-time Saturday and Sunday.

•Wash windows, walls and ceilings as required
•Vacuum floors, draperies and upholstered furniture
•Pick up debris and empty trash and recycle containers
•Handle and report lost and found items
•Dust furniture
•Distribute clean towels and toiletries
•Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items if required
•Make beds and change sheets
•Clean and disinfect rooms
•Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
•Clean, disinfect and polish bathroom fixtures and appliances
