1. you aren’t in a calorie deficit.
One thing that all diets have in common whether it be vegan, keto, carnivore, or intermittent fasting is they all require a calorie deficit to be effective. Try tracking your calories for a few days to see where you fall, and make adjustments where it’s needed

2. you aren’t resistance training.
Lifting weights is essentially a cheat code for weight loss. Not only does it burn calories throughout the day, it slightly increases your BMR. Consistently following a resistance training program also helps keep you in a good mindset for the rest of the day and can help motivate you to make healthy choices throughout the day.

3. You aren’t consistent/you’re not challenging yourself.
It’s not essential to work until failure each workout; but ensuring you aren’t just “going through the motions” is important for overall success. Consistency is also key. Without consistency, your body will not see much progression.

4. you aren’t sleeping enough.
This one can make a significant impact on your weight loss goals. Sleeping is essential for weight loss and muscle gain, it’s where your body makes its most impactful recovery. Getting less than 8 hours of sleep can impact your goals. Try going to bed and waking up at consistent times (within an hour) every single day; yes, including weekends.
