Today, under RRAI’s name, we spent some time downtown London offering cold water to people experiencing homelessness.
It was a simple act, but simple things matter, especially on hot days. A bottle of water will not solve homelessness, but it can offer a moment of care, dignity, and human connection.
Community work is not always about big events or formal programs. Sometimes it is just showing up, seeing people, and remembering that everyone deserves kindness and respect.
Grateful for the opportunity to serve in a small way today.
Kindness
Scams continue to evolve, but awareness remains one of the best forms of protection.
RRAI is pleased to present (Top 5 Scams That Target the Public in Ontario: How to Protect Yourself), an important session designed to help community members recognize common scams, understand warning signs, and take practical steps to protect themselves and their families.
A special thank you to **Samantha Glass** and the **Young Racialized Professionals Network (YRPN)** for their collaboration and support in helping bring this valuable information to the community. Strong partnerships make it possible to share knowledge that can prevent financial loss, identity theft, and fraud.
Fraudsters are creative, but informed communities are resilient communities.
