We know the temptation of raw cookie dough and brownie batter is real—it smells so good even candle companies are jealous!

But if you're baking with raw eggs or other raw ingredients, remember to skip the taste test. Raw eggs can contain harmful bacteria, and we want you and your little helpers to stay safe while creating holiday memories. Remember:

🧼 Wash Your Hands and Surfaces: Always start with clean hands, utensils, and workspaces.
🥚 Avoid Eating Raw Dough or Batter: Raw eggs and uncooked flour can contain harmful bacteria like Salmonella and E. coli. Save the taste test for the baked version!
🎛️Cook Thoroughly: Ensure your cooking your food to the proper cooking temperatures.
🌾Separate Ingredients: Use separate bowls and utensils for raw and ready-to-eat ingredients to avoid cross-contamination.
🍪 Properly Store Leftovers: Allow treats to cool before storing them in airtight containers. Refrigerate items containing perishable ingredients like cream or custard.
