To address anti-Black racism in ballet, education and ongoing collaborative conversations are imperative for systemic change. For projects like Assemblée Internationale 2023, both the lead-up and post-event work has centered on encouraging consistent discussions about examining our accountability in advancing equity, and challenging ourselves and others to create the change needed in the art form.
