May 9th is Compost Awareness Day at Convertus Manassas! Get a behind-the-scenes look at the Manassas facility's compost process and connect with local vendors to find out more about what sustainable composting is all about!

At Convertus, we are committed to closing the loop and turning organic waste into high-quality resources. We are proud to partner with the Prince William County Government, Virginia Solid Waste Division, to host the annual Compost Awareness Day.

Join us on May 9 to explore the vital role composting plays in soil health and environmental sustainability. This event is an excellent opportunity to see our composting operations in action and connect with local environmental leaders.

Event Highlights:

🌱 Sustainability in Action: Monster Organics will be on-site to discuss food waste collection.

🌱 Compost facility tours at 10:30, 11:30 a.m., and 12:30 p.m. (closed-toed shoes required).

🌱 Free compost samples.
