June is Seniors Month in Ontario, a time to celebrate older adults and the many ways they shape our community. π
At the Library, there are programs, services, and resources for every chapter of life. From film screenings and book clubs to social programs, tech help, and health information, there are many ways to connect, learn, and access support.
In art and life, second acts can be scary good. π»β¨
Join us for a free screening of Silver Screamers, a heartwarming documentary about a group of older adults who step outside their comfort zones to make a horror film. With humour, friendship, and a whole lot of courage, they prove that creativity has no age limit.
After the screening, stay for a conversation with Writer and Director Sean Cisterna and Director of Photography Danny Dunlop.
