We recently went on a treasure hunt walk to the park. We gathered rocks, flowers, and sticks to use as loose parts in our mud kitchen. After some fun at the park, the heat made us head back for the day.

Picking blackberries in our backyard! The children noticed the difference in taste between the squishy, dark berries and the hard, red berries. We talked about the lifecycle of plants and ripening of fruit.
