I can’t tell you just how proud I am of this young man! I’ve watched him play hockey since he was three years old and seeing him flourish in his last year in minor hockey as a dominant force on his team and in his league has been absolutely unreal. He works hard for the puck at all times. He always looks to make the pass and has perfected the saucer. He’s built a rifle of a snapshot. He stands his ground in front of the net and uses incredible hand eye coordination to get so many tipping goals from defenceman shots. His hockey sense is so strong. His hand eye coordination, and timing for checking someone that has the puck is so good. He keeps himself under control and doesn’t get too many penalties. He advocates for himself to the refs, but isn’t disrespectful. Any coach would want him on their team, if they were lucky enough to get him, and there couldn’t be a dad more proud of him than me. 

Congratulations Zack. You earned this, and I look forward to kicking your butt in men’s league now that we can play together. Just give me some time to sharpen my skates and lose 20 pounds…
