Soft pinks and pastels were requested for yesterday’s baby shower… Peonies, ranunculus, lupin, lambs ear and pasque flower seed heads were just some of the spring flowers used in these arrangements. I had so much fun selecting the elements and love how they turned out. 💐

I loved making this arrangement, which included the first anemones of the season. Anemones are one of my favourite spring flowers and their pastel colour is just perfection. 🌸

This weekend at the farm stand we’ve got some interesting parrot tulips in shades of apricot. These look like they’re straight out of a Dutch flower painting from the 1700s. I can appreciate why these artists loved to paint unusual tulips… each is unique in form and colour.
