“Just a few minutes” can mean the difference between life and death for a dog, as temperatures in a car can climb beyond what they can safely manage in 10 minutes (or less - see diagram in comments) and cause heatstroke.⁣⁣⁣

So, play it safe and leave your furry friend at home next time you run into a restaurant or store. Because “just a few minutes” isn’t worth a life… and a lifetime of regret. ⁣⁣⁣
