Celebrate Pow Wow Nights at Langley Fine Arts School with Wild River Singers and our Cultural Workshops! Join us on Monday nights for an evening of creativity, community, culture, drumming, and dancing. Everyone is welcome!
Dates: June 9, June 23
Location: Langley Fine Arts School Gymnasium, 9096 Trattle St, Langley, BC
Time: 6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Each evening will begin with a shared meal at 6:00 p.m., prepared with love by Kwantlen member David Fillardeau. 🍽️
June 9 - Kristy Trattle will be making essential oil smudge spray with us. Kristy is a Cree/Métis Artisan, and the daughter of Linda McCullough.
June 23 - stɑl’əw̓ Arts & Cultural Society members Linda McCullough and Roanne Gibbons from Lucia-Rose Cree/Métis will be teaching us how to make flower beaded earrings.
Cultural workshops are first come first serve.
Free for Indigenous people. Non-Indigenous participants can join for a workshop fee. All proceeds go towards supporting programs at stɑl'əw̓ Arts & Cultural Society.

We’re happy to share that MNBC’s Métis Counselling Connection (MCC) program is accepting applications once again! 💙
Citizens can apply for up to $2,000 in funding to access counselling and clinical services, supporting wellness for all ages.
Priority will be given to new applicants, and we kindly ask those who have already participated in the program to refrain from reapplying.
📍 Eligibility: Must be an MNBC Citizen currently residing in British Columbia.

We’re excited to announce our next Indigenous workshop:
✨ Ribbon Skirt Making with Sandra Murray of Métis Creations! ✨
🗓 Date: *SUNDAY* March 23rd, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
📍 Location: Clayton Recreation Centre
Sandra Murray, a Métis artist and long-time Cloverdale resident, will guide participants in creating ribbon skirts, a cherished symbol of identity, resilience, and cultural pride. Sandra runs a small business with her daughter, assembling ribbon skirt kits and sharing her passion for traditional crafts.
Space is limited to 6 participants for the first workshop. Email [email protected] to secure your spot.
The Province of British Columbia has provided Stɑl'əw̓ Arts & Cultural Society the Giving Voice grant in support of this event.
