IMPORTANT: in lieu of the reaction to the last budget breakdown reel, I’d like to remind the internet that bullying people & making rude comments is never an acceptable use of your free will on the internet. Couples are allowed to create the weddings they want, spend what they feel fits them, and it’s ok that not everything on the internet is meant for you to agree with. Simply scroll on by if what I create doesn’t align with you and your views. The intention behind this series is to bring TRANSPARENCY to an otherwise VERY shrouded in mystery industry that has historically not be open about the cost of what it promotes.

It’s important for couples newly engaged and starting to plan to understand how budgets can be broken down and what can be done for various budgets. No two weddings are the same and therefore no two budgets are either, but this can help you visualize how one might be broken down in regard to specific values of the couple.

This budget was for a couple who had a large guest count, valued the wedding design and aesthetic and capturing the day to relive again!

(And just a reminder that yes, these are real couples, with real budgets and therefore have been prioritized to their hopes and dreams. Not all weddings and not all budgets will be one size fits all...and that’s how it should be! Working with a planner who understands this and works with your budget and your dream is key!)

So I remind you kindly, please remember that on the other end of content is a real person, real couples, a small business and someone who is striving to make the industry less closed and more open for those just coming into it 🤍
