" I am so excited to share with you today that I am proudly assuming the position of Chairwoman and Ambassadress of The Gupta Group In my new role, I will be leading strategic planning and of course, philanthropic initiatives across all of the company's divisions. This new position will allow me to find new growth opportunities for our company for both the Canadian economy and globally, while continuing to support philanthropic activities- all of which are very near and dear to my heart.

Thank you to my dad, Dr. Steve Gupta, for the mentorship and guidance you've shared with me over the years. Our childhood trips to construction sites, and working at the office since I could walk, will always be in my heart and made me who I am today. Most importantly, your trust in me to hand over the reigns means more than words could possibly express.

Mom, you taught me confidence, you taught me how to be strong no matter what is thrown at me. You taught me what it means to be a strong Indian woman and (always supported me when I wanted to break societal norms) and taught me love. I love you both so so much!!!!

As I step into this position, I will continue to strengthen my commitment to inclusivity, provide development opportunities, and bolster charitable initiatives that support women and children! I look forward to inspiring other women and instilling change in the business community; I will never understand the term 'glass ceilings', as women we can walk on the ceiling, through the ceiling and with heels!! … “
