Common Goods pottery

I’ve always been an interior design geek. These big lamp bases are part of my exploration into medium and large home goods. It’s incredibly fulfilling to explore new techniques with my partner, and tailor make something just for us. I’m still riding out my creativity cleanse, and honestly, I’m doing everything I can to avoid working at the wheel these days since I’ve been associating throwing with production work. My bank account is practically screaming at me to reopen wholesale, but I’d rather be broke than dive back into repetitive throwing. Right now, my main focus is on bringing to life those pieces that have been sitting on my to-make list forever, without the pressure of turning them into money-makers right away.
