RCNA Coin Grading Workshop – July 15, 2026

Coin a day! 🪙✨

The Voyageur dollar coin 🛶 that most of us know was actually designed to commemorate King George V’s silver jubilee. 👑

Sculptor Emanuel Hahn 🎨 originally submitted a design with a caribou 🦌, but the finance minister preferred the Voyageur canoe 🛶 image instead.

The only clue to what this coin commemorates is in the Latin inscription :
“GEORGE V KING EMPEROR IN THE 25TH YEAR OF HIS REIGN” ✨
