From remote exploration programs to UAV surveys and long-term monitoring sites, base stations provide the reference data behind reliable magnetic measurements.

Earth’s magnetic field changes throughout the day. By recording those variations continuously at a fixed location, a base station enables survey teams to correct rover and airborne data for diurnal variation.

The result is cleaner data, stronger line-to-line consistency, and more confidence in the anomalies that guide interpretation.
