A Sunday belt-grading event with Alex Gillis and his Danforth Saturday Crew ^_^ like a family reunion in so many ways (and the testers leveled-up btw) some nostalgia, some familiar faces, some new faces too ^_^ just awesome, you know?

The first youth grading at the Institute was simply a demonstration of skills, abilities, and spirit with the aim to meet the requirements involved in leveling-up to the next belt-grade ^_^ those kids worked hard to attempt to master the technical aspects of an art that was totally new to them and (as you might see, without limitations imposed on them) they flourished indeed, under careful guidance of the Institute's staff, pushing their limits far beyond the average modern couch-potato kid LoL seriously, yellow-belts with suspension-splits, proper form on punches and kicks, extensive work on balance and body-conditioning o_O rare in the world of martial arts (seriously) are schools as invested in the real-world development of its progeny as the Institute, and the kids themselves did a fantastic job as they took destiny and development into their own little hands ^_^ so proud of you all for your effort and your spirit =) thankful to the parents also, for trusting in the vision, and for trusting your kids to be best they can be ^_^ to the whole class, all levels, keep your focus sharp for the next stage, ok?
