I get asked this a lot: “Do your hands get sore?” Massage isn’t just about using your hands, it’s about using your whole body. I rely on body weight, elbows, forearms, plus movements like squats and lunges to create effective pressure without straining myself. Here, I’m working on a trigger point (knot) in the scapular area, incorporating joint play to help improve mobility. I’ve also added a pin-and-stretch technique for the latissimus dorsi and subscapularis to help release tension within the shoulder joint itself. I love helping clients get to their goals & by using bigger muscle groups to avoid burnout and injuries is the way to keep going strong as a RMT! 💪💆‍♀️
