While it’s not a statutory holiday everywhere, many provinces and cities give it their own unique twist:
💜Alberta celebrates Heritage Day, honouring the province’s diverse cultural mosaic.
💜British Columbia calls it BC Day, spotlighting the province’s history and identity.
💜Ontario has local celebrations like Simcoe Day in Toronto and Colonel By Day in Ottawa.
💜Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island mark it as Natal Day, commemorating the founding of their communities.
