First camping trip in 10 years and wow, Cypress Lake was pure magic. Crystal clear water, quiet mornings, and nights under the stars. I really felt like a kid again… swimming all day, laughing until it hurt, and soaking up every little moment. This trip was full of new experiences and memories I’ll hold onto forever. This summer has already been one of the best I’ve had in years, and we’re only halfway through. Feeling so grateful and so excited for what’s still to come!

Some of our first harvests this year! Our garden is much smaller this year but we’ve still got lots coming! It’s such a rewarding experience harvesting beautiful fruits and veggies after putting in so much love and care into the plants ❤️

Ok, tell me a book you’re having a hard time getting through…

This is my first fantasy and I really dove into the deep end — The Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson. I’ve made it to page 783 (only like… 400+ more to go lol) and my brain is hanging on by a stormlight-infused thread.

So far: we’re following multiple characters across a war-torn world, including a slave-turned-soldier who keeps surviving the impossible, a woman trying to steal from a powerful scholar, and a high-ranking warrior haunted by visions during magical storms. There are talking sprens, glowing weapons, and a whole lot of philosophy mixed in with the battles.

It’s intense. It’s brilliant….. it’s slow
