1 Peter 2:1-3 So get rid of all evil and all deceit and hypocrisy and envy and all slander.
And yearn like newborn infants for pure, spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up to salvation,
if you have experienced the Lord’s kindness.
Our Christian life is a journey.
A non-stop journey that requires continual growth and maturity.
How we grow is digging into the Word and spending time with God everyday. Renewing our minds, feeding our spirit and looking to Jesus is a must.
Jesus is the example of what we can be. He even said we're supposed to do greater works than Him.
John 14:12 (NET) I tell you the solemn truth, the person who believes in me will perform the miraculous deeds that I am doing, and will perform greater deeds than these, because I am going to the Father.
The only way that's possible is by having a desire and drive to understand and live the Word.

A lot of the time we tend to over rely on people or things. We also try to figure things out by ourselves only to end up making mistakes that set us back.
Learn to put your trust in God only. His plan is always the best plan even though we might sometimes not know where He's leading us.
That's where faith comes in.
Also, remember that people ALWAYS change, God NEVER changes.
Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding.
Acknowledge him in all your ways, and he will make your paths straight."
