Want to make a tangible impact on climate change right where you grow? Your gardening efforts are a perfect place to start! Here are some of our top tips for sustainable gardening that can make a real difference.

๐ŸŒ Composting kitchen waste to garden fertilizer: collecting organic waste, mixing it, and keeping it moist will, overtime, create a nutrient-rich fertilize. It not only feeds your plants naturally but also reduces landfill waste and methane emissions!
๐ŸŒ Water-wise gardening: using mulch (wood chips or straw) keeps the ground from drying out too fast. Watering deeply but less often encourages stronger roots while reducing the amount of water used. You can even collect free water by setting up rain barrels to catch runoff from your roof!
๐ŸŒ Upcycling household items for your garden: you can use plastic bottles for drip irrigation, used food containers for small planters or starting seeds (poke drainage holes), and old ladders for vertical planters!
๐ŸŒ Opting for native plants: these plants are perfectly suited for the local environment, generally requiring less water, fertilizer, and pest control because they are designed to thrive in the specific climate and social conditions. Happy Pride๐ŸŒˆ

Garden ecology teaches us that in nature, we can see q***r ecology all around us. It truly shows that being 2SLGBTQI+ has always been natural, just as wildlife loves without judgement and restrictions, even more reason to accept yourself for the beautiful soul you are today and love who you want to love.

We at Ecosource are wishing you a safe, warm, loving, proud, and beautiful Pride.
