DECLARE HEALING TO YOURSELF

“For she had been saying to herself, 'If I just touch His garments, I will get well.'” - Mark 5:28, NASB

In Mark 5:25-34, we have the story of a woman with the issue of blood who received her healing after being sick for 12 years.

She had suffered a great deal under the care of many doctors and had spent all she had, yet instead of her sickness situation getting better, it grew worse.

But one of the secrets to her healing was that when she heard about Jesus, she made a constant faith-based declaration to herself.

In our text today, the Bible says, prior to receiving her healing, “…she had been saying to herself…I will get well”. She set an expectation and end goals based on her faith and belief, not based on facts or fears.

The truth is: we all talk to ourselves a lot and all the time, sometimes without even realizing it.

Words are powerful arrows in the realm of the spirit, and the words you speak to yourself shape the direction that your life will go. With every word or thought that you feed yourself daily, you can either become a cheerleader of your own dream in life or a critic of yourself. You are the prophet over your life and destiny. The loudest voice in your life is what you keep saying to yourself.

One thing you will notice is, it is not the faith of other people or someone else that heals this woman, it is her own faith and belief expressed in her words.

Finally, Isaiah 53:5, NIV says:
“But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed”

Jesus paid the price on the cross for your healing, and as you put your faith in the finished works of Christ on the cross, I declare healing over you today in Jesus’ name.

POINT TO PONDER: Jesus paid the price on the cross for your healing.

PRAYER AND CONFESSION OF FAITH: Lord, as I journey through life, help me to use my words carefully to be in alignment with your will and purpose in Jesus’ name (Amen)

BELIEVE YOU WILL RECEIVE WHAT YOU PRAYED FOR

“Therefore, I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” - Mark 11:24, ESV

As we wrap up the month of October 2025 today, I want you to believe that you will receive what you have been praying for.

As believers, when we pray, we are required to exhibit positive expectation, that is, a strong belief that what we desire and ask for in prayer will happen.

Our text today says when we pray, we should believe we have received, and it will be ours. You don’t need to wait for the physical manifestation before you believe in your heart that it will be done. Your belief is key to receiving.

For example, in 1 Kings 18, Elijah was praying for rain to fall based on the word he received from God. He then sent his servant to go out there and check. He was expecting nothing but rain.

But, after looking outside, the servant came back to him and said: "...there is nothing" (vs 43). But Elijah kept on praying and asked the servant seven times to “Go back” again and check.

After seven times, the servant came back and said there was something like a small hand in the cloud, and what Elijah was expecting in prayer was about to manifest.

Beloved, 1 John 5:14, NIV says:
“This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.”

When you also pray, approach the throne of Grace with confidence, belief, and positive expectation that you will receive and have what you ask for in prayer in accordance with the will and word of God for you.

POINT TO PONDER: When you pray, approach the throne of Grace with positive expectation that what you pray for, you will receive.

PRAYER AND CONFESSION OF FAITH: Heavenly Father, I thank you in advance for the manifestation of all I ask for in prayer in accordance with your will in Jesus’ name (Amen)

I WILL SEE THE GOODNESS OF THE LORD

“I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living” - Psalms 27:13

One of the meanings of the word “hope” is your "confident expectation". It is your eager anticipation that something good is about to happen to you or take place in your life. Your personal believes and expectations are the breeding ground of Hope for divine manifestations.

When King David penned down the words in Psalms 27, it was at one of the challenging and lowest moments of his life. He was facing several uncertainties. His life and future were under threat. His heart was growing weary, and the situation was looking hopeless.

But, in the midst of those difficult and challenging times, David boldly reaffirmed his hope and confidence in God’s goodness. He made a faith-based bold declaration recorded in Psalms 27:13: “I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living".

And we also see him making the same bold, confident declaration of Faith and his expectation in Psalms 23:6, when he says:

“Surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life…”

Beloved, the direction a person’s life goes is determined by the words that he/she speaks to him or herself constantly and consistently. What are your own confident declarations and expectations over yourself and your family? What are you expecting in your personal life, your health, your career and professional life, your family and relationships, and your finances?

Speak words that are in alignment with God’s will, your desire, and your expectations. Whatever you confidently expect without doubt will shape the direction that your life will be heading.

POINT TO PONDER: Expectations are the breeding ground for divine manifestations

PRAYER AND CONFESSION OF FAITH: “I am confident without wavering that I will see and experience the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. God’s goodness and mercy shall follow me and my family all the days of my life.”

WHAT YOU BELIEVE SHAPES WHO YOU BECOME
By: Dr Johnson Iyilade

In Romans 4:18, the Bible says:
“Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, ‘So shall your offspring be’”

As a child of God, we live by Faith that is rooted in the word of God and His promises. We don’t live by sight. We have that hope and confident expectations that God’s word will not fail, but it will manifest in our lives.

One example that demonstrates how what you believe shapes who you become is Abraham. When God gave him a promise that he would be the Father of many nations, at that time, he did not even have a single child, and he is about 100 yrs. old, which is too late for him to have a child. Sarah's womb was also rated dead with no capacity to conceive a child. So, naturally, everything happening in their life seems to contradict the word of God. Their situation seems hopeless. The promise of God to Abraham that he would be the father of many nations seems impossible.

But despite all the natural evidence that seems to contradict the promises of God, the Bible says, against all hope, Abraham believed in hope that he would be the father of many nations. And because of his believes and expectations, he became one. God's word did not fail.

Beloved, as you also step into this new week, no matter what seems to contradict the word of God, I encourage you to put your hope and faith in God and His unfailing word. As you do so, I declare over you that:

“As you put your HOPE and FAITH in God and His unfailing Word, there will be a divine manifestation of every promise of God in your life and that of your family in Jesus' name. I declare that no matter the natural or physical condition you are in at the moment, your situation or circumstance is not hopeless. The Lord will perfect everything that concerns you and turn around every seemingly hopeless situation. By the grace of God, I declare that, at the end, all things will work together for your good in Jesus’ name (Amen).”

Have a triumphant new week!

IF GOD BE FOR ME, WHO CAN BE AGAINST ME?

“Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” – Deut, 31:6

As we saw yesterday, God told the children of Israel not to be afraid of the giants ahead of them because He is with them.

In today’s text, God again was encouraging the children of Israel to keep on moving forward to the promised land ahead of them because they were still scared and afraid of the enemy and adversaries that were coming against them.

When you allow fear of what is coming against you to rule your mind, it paralyzes you and stops you from taking actions that you need to take to progress and move forward in life. But when your faith in God rules your mind, it empowers you to take the right action and move forward against all your fears. You will become very bold, confident, and courageous to stand against all adversaries. Just like David confronted Goliath by faith against all fears that paralyze the rest of the Israelites in 1 Sam 17.

Romans 8:31 says:
“What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?”

Beloved, when you have God inside you, before you, and beside you, you have nothing to be afraid of in life because the Almighty God is in you and with you. He will never leave you nor forsake you. He is there with you in your high and low moments. He will fight for you, shield you, protect you, strengthen you, and meet you at various points of need. You will triumph over every challenge and difficulty that may come your way in life

Today, I want you to walk in the consciousness of God’s power and presence in your life. You are more than a conqueror through Christ who strengthens you.

POINTS TO PONDER: When you have God with you, you have nothing to be afraid of.

PRAYER AND CONFESSION OF FAITH: Lord, today I declare that I am fearless. No matter what may come against me in life, I declare that I am bold and courageous to confront difficulties and giants.

DON’T BE AFRAID OF GIANTS AHEAD, GOD IS WITH YOU

“No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you.” – Joshua 1:5

In Exodus 3:7-8, 17, and Deut. 8:7-10, God described the promised land where He is taking the children of Israel. He described it as a GOOD land; a land of ABUNDANCE; a land FLOWING with MILK and HONEY; a GREAT and SPACIOUS land; a land of FREEDOM from SLAVERY; a PLACE of PEACE and REST.

Who would not want that kind of land or experience in life? Of course, we all want that.

However, the promised land that God is taking the children of Israel is not a FREE land. There are some GIANTS occupying it already. There are CHALLENGES to confront on the way before they get there.

If you are in the same spot as the Israelites, the giants and challenges ahead of you can bring you panic and intimidation. It can make you fearful and afraid of moving forward to the destination God desired for you. Fear paralyzes and keeps you in the same spot.

But one crucial assurance that God gave to Joshua in our text today is that when you have God on your side, nothing can stand against you. God will never leave or forsake you.

Now that is good news because it means you are not fighting the battle of life alone. You have God on your side, and He is there for you and will never leave or forsake you.

Beloved, when you know the strength, power, and might of the one who lives in you and is for you, you can boldly confront your fears and declare to yourself:
“The LORD is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?” (ref: Heb 13:5-6)

POINT TO PONDER: You are not fighting the battle of life alone. You have God with you and on your side.

PRAYER AND CONFESSION OF FAITH: Heavenly Father, I thank you for assuring me today that I am not alone. I know that I am weak, but you are strong. I, therefore, tap into the strength of your grace for endless victory in life in Jesus’ name (Amen)
