ECCE Special Guest Announcement: Ed Brisson!

We're very pleased to announce that Halifax writer Ed Brisson will be joining us this June for the East Coast Comic Expo! Ed is a regular part of our weekly celebrations of comics on the shelves from East Coast creators, so stop by to see him this June at the Moncton Coliseum.

Ed Brisson is a comic book writer who first started to garner attention with his self-published crime series MURDER BOOK. He broke into the public spotlight in 2012 with the crime/time-travel thriller series COMEBACK (Shadowline/Image Comics). Since then, he’s written and co-created four other series published by Image: SHELTERED, THE FIELD, THE MANTLE and THE VIOLENT.

Plus all of Ed's recent work for DC, Marvel, BOOM, IDW, Aftershock and many others, including BATMAN INCORPORATED and THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD: STORMWATCH for DC and PREDATOR and ALPHA FLIGHT for Marvel.

He's currently writing multiple Thundercats and Silverhawks series. He’s been nominated for the Joe Shuster Award for Best Canadian Writer several times.

He lives in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada with his wife and daughter.
