09/08/98 — "before I knew better."

That's what Lena wrote on the sleeve. She grabbed the blue wax on her way out the door and didn't even break the shrink. Just tucked it under her arm and disappeared into the night.

The record? 88 Fingers Louie, Back On The Streets. Hopeless Records reissue on translucent cobalt blue, limited to 700 copies. Skate-punk that still hits like a brick three decades later.

Some records live on the turntable. Others belong to the kind of night that swallows you whole and spits you out at sunrise with a story you'll only half remember. 🔥

Limited stock on this one. Link in bio if you want to give it a home.

300 copies. Relapse Records, 2008. White wax with black and grey splatter, and somehow still surfacing in the wild if you hunt hard enough 🔥

Pulled Agenda Of Swine's "Waves Of Human Suffering" off the shelf tonight and figured it was worth talking about. Texas grind at its most punishing. Eighteen tracks of blown-out blastbeats, pig-squeal vocals, and that filthy Relapse low end that hits you square in the chest.

If you came up on Insect Warfare, Maruta, or Kill The Client, this one's already in your blood. The lineage runs deep, and you can hear it in every riff and every snare hit.

Splatter copies from this run don't show up often. When they do, they don't sit long. Real grind heads know what a Relapse pressing from this era feels like in your hands.

Lights off. Needle down. Side A is over before you've caught your breath 🐺

Forgive her, for she knows not what she does, sometimes it’s just the sound of the needle finding its groove.

Welcome to the darker side of your collection. Paying tribute to one of our absolute favorite albums of all time, we’ve traded the silence for the atmosphere of "Heavy Hisses"—where the crackles are intentional, the pops are poetic, and the surface noise is just the ghost in the machine singing along.

Forget digital perfection—It’s not a defect; it’s a mood. It’s the sound of a record breathing in the dark.

Spin it slow. Let the dust settle. Don't fear the noise in the space between the tracks, the imperfections are where the heart of the record truly beats.
