Where my fellow working dog peeps !? 🫶👊💥

This dog would have bitten me pretty seriously when I first arrived at his house a few weeks ago had he had the chance.

As I’ve mentioned before, I don’t like filming dogs in their worst moments. I don’t believe in exposing a dog when they’re struggling just to get views. What I do like showing is how quickly things can change when a dog is finally given clear communication and guidance.

This dog was living in a constant state of overstimulation. His nervous system was fried. Walks had become impossible—he was pulling, dragging, panicking, and completely unable to regulate himself. Like so many dogs in this situation, the solution became to simply stop walking him altogether.

Over the last three weeks, we taught him a new way to respond to pressure. Through negative reinforcement, he learned to yield to leash pressure, stay connected to his handler, and find clarity instead of conflict.

Today, we enjoyed a beautiful walk together.

The relief on his owners’ faces said everything. For the first time in a long time, they felt like they could actually enjoy their dog again. More importantly, their dog looked happier too. Calmer. More confident. More capable.

Sometimes the biggest transformations don’t come from teaching a dog something new—they come from finally giving them a communication system they can understand.
