Today, we celebrate my father and founder of Monitrans, Bechara El Chemali, whose dedication and leadership laid the foundation for everything Transport Monitrans has become. Through changing markets, long days, economic challenges, and countless miles on the road, he never lost sight of the values that matter most: honesty, commitment, and taking care of customers.

What started as a single truck, countless hours, and a vision has grown into a company built on hard work, resilience, relationships and most importantly, his promise to his clients !

His friends describe him : as the hardest working man in transport,he fixes he drives and he commits, and as all of his clients and providers say , his word and a handshake are worth more than currency.

10 years ago, I started in the trucking industry working for my father. Back then, I was just trying to learn the business, understand the challenges, and earn my place in an industry built on hard work.

Over the last decade, I’ve seen it all—long days, equipment breakdowns, busy seasons, slow seasons, difficult customers, and great customers. Every challenge taught me something valuable.

I look back at those early days with gratitude. Every challenge helped shape the company we are building today. The lessons learned on the road continue to guide every decision we make.

This industry has given me opportunities, friendships, unforgettable experiences, and a deep respect for the people who keep freight moving every day, I am most grateful for having the opportunity to learn this business from the ground up and work alongside my father.

To every driver, dispatcher, mechanic, customer, and mentor who has been part of this journey—thank you.

10 years later, I’m still learning, still growing, and still passionate about trucking.
